Juan Galva ~ Hanshi serves as the International Kaicho or President of the Soken Kan Karatedo Hozon Kai, a special Yuaikai association of like-minded individuals looking to immerse themselves in the Original Teachings of Soken Hohan Sensei and as passed on to Nishihira Kosei Sensei, Sandoval Tony Sensei and Yabiku Takaya Sensei, making him a 3rd Generation Seeker of the Old Ways or Machimura Ti.
He also heads up the Kishimoto Ha Okinawan Kobudo which he learned directly from Kishimoto Katsuo Sensei. And is the founder of the Imperial White Crane which is an enriched method containing the full teachings of the American Hakutsuru system as passed on to him directly by Tony Sandoval Sensei and other White Crane and Tai Chi Masters.
We are an Unique Association whose sole aim is to educate others in the old ways of Soken Hohan Sensei's teachings in a totally natural way as befits the Ryukyu Arts before it became commercialized and marketed to the masses! We have two Divisions: The Open Division dedicated to those just wanting to learn the more widely known "Matsumura" teachings with this division known as the MATSUDOKAN.
The Closed Division is for those unique people seeking to take their personal, individual and School training towards the totally natural and special innermost knowledge of that as taught by Soken Sensei. This is of course, is the the
